BIOFUM AUTUMN produces a wide range of glucosinolates, enabling an effective reduction of soil-borne fungi. It shows high biomass levels, flowers late and has a good soil cover. It has a higher frost resistance (up to -8 C) than the Biofum Summer (as forage rape is less sensitive to frost than white mustard), so this blend is suitable for overwintering. It is ideal for late summer/early autumn drilling and incorporation in the spring (usually after 1st March).
BIOFUM SUMMER is a blend containing deep tap-rooting varieties that produce high levels of green manure. It has a long and efficient uptake of nitrogen due to its long flowering period and deep roots. It produces a wide range of glucosinolates, enabling an effective reduction of soil-borne pathogens and nematodes (can reduce PCN by up to 42% per year). It is ideal for early drilling and autumn incorporation.
